FAITH -101

By Newcomb

Faith begins with one small step.

Are you uncomfortable with Death?

Do you fear God?

If your answer is yes, Yes is good news!  To believe that GOD is and cares about you is proof that you have already taken a step of Faith!

That you want Him to be pleased with you is another step of Faith.

Please Him by believing. Faith builds from belief.  When you read God's Word and believe His promises, you have Hope.  Not a wishful, hope-so but, an expecting, Hope where Faith verifies God's promise to you.  That is all the Faith one needs!

The only way the things, you fear, can happen is to reject His Gift of Eternal life through the sacrifice of His Son. (This is an exclusive Faith; there is no other god, nor other approach to this One God.)  This Gospel is crucial,  (word choice intended)

Faith is God's gift. One only has to ask.  When you accept God for real and His Word for truth, He won't be surprised, He is waiting for you as The Redeemer, not a Judge. Believing allows Faith to happen.  Faith is the only qualifier.

I have said nothing new or different than the Scriptures.
This is written to encourage believers as they examine their belief,
grasp the promises and face their future,
even when life seems to be at its end.

If a living, Creator, God is a new idea for you; He is as close as your hands and feet. Waiting for you to believe.  Silently, ask Him to help you understand.  One recognizes Faith when it changes things, not when it is only talked about.

FAITH is Heaven's corridor; take FAITH with you everywhere you go.

Below, are several Biblical references to Faith.  (There are hundreds.)

Romans   5:17 Faith is awakened by hearing the Gospel

Romans   5:1  We have been justified by Faith

Hebrews 11:1 Faith gives substance to our hopes and makes us certain of       realities we do not see.

Ephesians 2:8  By Grace you are saved, through faith* it is not your own doing.  It is God's gift, not a reward for work done.

(trusting in Him)*

Belief in God, Faith in God, and Trust in God: Three intangibles that demonstrate each other.
(A visible trust reveals an invisible faith.  Faith reveals a Belief.)

Our mints still strike each coin with: IN GOD WE TRUST, can we do less?

God has blessed America.

"Thank You for my faith"
