" THE PRIVILEGE "
of submission
Almighty God created and controlled all things everywhere, seen and unseen.
He delegated to Man the management of his own environment. He gave Man free will to think and act. God was responsible for Man's every breath and bite of food.
With out submission to God: Man, with God's allowance, took on the responsibility of his own existence.
God separated Man from His paradise to fend for himself. Man separated himself from God by his own selfish will. He also traded Life for Death. We live with this choice to this day.
God has given us, individually, the opportunity to be submissive! We can return to what God wanted for us!
Bow our stiff neck, bend our proud knees, accept that we are Men and that God is totally God. Give God control and accept His Salvation. Let God be responsible.
Control and responsibility are inseparable. Don't get in the way and God will save you!
Christ, in control, saw the resurrection of Lazarus. As Christ gave total submission to God, God took the responsibility of his resurrection! We in turn rejoice in the resurrection of Christ.
We must be submissive to become Christians, We must remain submissive to be Christ's followers. Paul writes to at least three Churches that weren't being submissive enough. He ends a long list of submissive relationships saying, that we must be submissive to each other.
We each, through out our lives, will have been several of these: Young and Old, child and father or mother, spouse, renter and landlord, hired laborer and employer, leader and follower, instructor and learner, richer or poorer, married and single.
The reward for submission to God is eternal life! There are present and recognizable rewards for each submissive action we take. Society, Civilization, Exchange, Travel and Education depend on it.
We, in a moment, any day, can list the new unsubmissive crimes, broken homes, wrecks and misery. To be unsubmissive is to be arrogant, selfish and unrealistic. The whole world and everyone on it, must be submissive.
1 Peter 5:5É..All must submit to each other, clothed with humility, God ranges against the Proud (conspicuous) and gives Grace to the humble. (Grace as gratitude, acceptable, benefit, favor and gift.) nw
